I live for clever alliterations, mid-day reading breaks and my french press. If I’m not at my desk or propped up at local coffee shop, I’m likely out exploring local trails, nose deep into my current fantasy read or barefoot, inspecting the daily goodies of my garden.
From serial entrepreneur to full-time brand storyteller
My path to Zest has been anything but linear. Four years into my business degree, I wanted some real-world experience to juice up my resume— and what better way than diving into “real-life business”?
So, in 2018, I started Island Woodwork, a family-run woodworking business, specializing in custom cribbage boards made from up-cycled wood. A few years later, I founded From The West, a boutique event rental company specializing in wooden ceremony decor and lawn games — a natural extension of my first business.
Two businesses, two very different industries, yet both had the same approach that led to their success:

Each of these ventures taught me the true power of storytelling
— not just in marketing and selling, but in shaping experiences people genuinely care about. This is the philosophy I bring to every project, every client, every brand that comes across my desk: leading with a story.
